2) Nice driving car. I've owned it for 2 1/2 years. I bought it from the fellow who built in the mid-80's. White top is in great shape. Paint is presentable but is 25 years old. 327 c.i. Small block - 350 block w/ large journal 327 crank. 340 +/- Horsepower. 13.5 sec. @ 100 mph quarter mile. Heads are "492" casting from '70 LT1 w/ 2.02 int. & 1.60 exh valves. Actually were bought over the counter at local Chevy dealership. Edelbrock Performer with new Quick Fuel Technologies Carburetor: 780 cfm Vacuum Secondary. Cam Comp XE274 hydraulic with Comp roller tip rockers. Stock Corvette oil pan. MSD Tach Drive Distributor & 6AL box. Hooker headers & sidepipes with SpiralTurbo muffler inserts. Custom heat guards.
Freshly rebuilt (less than 1000 miles) 700R4 Transmission with 2500 rpm converter. Very firm shifts. New L88-style hood. I had it painted to match. Wheels are restored American Racing "200S" 15x7" & 15x8.5". Tires are Dunlop 255/60.
Manual brakes are SS sleeved. New master cylinder. Manual Steering. New rear shocks. New Sony CD player, kick-panel speakers, & sub-woofer. New Steering wheel & visors. Tilt & Teloscopic steering wheel. TRW rear spring. Color codes from the owner. February 17, 2010.
1) Alarm, Alloy Wheels, AM/FM Stereo, Automatic Trans, Cassette, Leather Interior, Power Windows, Tilt /Telescopic. Built and owned by Sports Car Center owner in mid 1980's. Owner is now 63 and doesn't drive it. This car is very dependable and very very fast. And it gets good gas milage. Totally non-factory.
